Jolibe Fashion ShowCase on Sunday Sept 7. This show was keyed by Matin. This was far most my favorite show. The clothes was unforgettable and surreal. I felt like I was in outerspace fashion world. It made me want to get dressed with high end couture to feel welcomed. The makeup was made to look natural with a dewy finish. We used alot of moisturizer to soften the skin and used MAC strobe cream to create the irredescent touch. White liner was used on the inner lid and natural lip balm was placed on the lips. The makeup was my favorite as it looked futurastic of beautiful skin and beauty. I als used SMASHBOX cheek glo to add a touch of natural pink on the apple of the cheeks.

Place: The Bowery Hotel
Taking place at the Bowery hotel me and my team of 3 talented makeup artist gathered to represent Smashbox and Rock out the Geren Ford Spring 2009 Collection. 1st time to NY Fashion Week Geren wanted to make a big impression from the clothes, to the makeup to the final selected models. Makeup Look was created by Smashbox Artist Lori Taylor and executed by yours truly and her team of 4 (Elizabeth Gerbino,Genavie Santos,Marni, and Diana.
There roughly 15 models posed on blocks, all had great patent leather shoes styled British punk style with little ankle socks and little woven clutch purses that reminded of Tomas Maier’s Bottega Venetta.
The makeup was inspired by the clothing and of course the movement of edge chic rock glam. We wanted to touch every girl with a signature look of a dark eye or orange wash to give a tone of light. After reading many blogs about the show I was very pleased to hear all the positive feedback on the look and the line as well. Stay tuned for more features. Also I had the pleasure to work with Texas a NY model who was being followed by Nylonmag.com to focus on the beauty look of the show. All makeup sponsered by SMASHBOX
